You may have run into this error while trying to upload an exemption sheet for Amazon FBA hazmat, “Invalid File Format“. This error occurs because of one of two reasons.
- File Format: Amazon recently changed its file format to an excel version instead of a PDF. Submitting the wrong file format could cause errors. We have provided links to where you can download this new version below.
- File Name: The Invalid File Format error will still occur if your filename has a special character in it. These special characters include (<>\/|.:”‘?*&@). Remove these characters and your file will upload.
