Amazon FBA New Selection Program

The FBA New Selection Program will offer bigger incentives starting July 30, giving sellers fee credits, free storage and returns on up to 200 units to lower product launch costs

New product launches often come with higher risks, making cost control a top priority for Amazon sellers. Even small savings on fees and storage can improve profitability during the early stages of a launch.

That’s why the latest changes to the FBA New Selection Program deserve attention. The updated incentives introduce new credits and expanded fee waivers that could help sellers stretch their launch budgets further.

Amazon Boosts FBA New Selection Program With Stronger Launch Incentives for New ASINs

Amazon announced that the FBA New Selection Program will launch updated benefits on July 30, 2026, with the goal of reducing costs and complexity for new branded product launches while supporting early sales. The changes replace the existing program beginning July 30 and add another layer of support to Amazon FBA programs aimed at new-to-FBA products.

Sellers already enrolled in the current program will automatically receive the new benefits for eligible branded FBA ASINs launched between July 30 and October 31, 2026. After October 31, sellers must confirm their enrollment to continue receiving benefits under the updated program, a change that many providers offering Amazon management and Amazon agency services will likely monitor closely.

The announcement includes several new incentives that apply from the first inventory received date for eligible products. Benefits include:

  • $50 in coupon fee credits available during the first 60 days.
  • $75 in middle-tier Vine enrollment fee credits during the first 60 days.
  • Free storage, returns, and liquidations on the first 200 units for 120 days.
  • No low-inventory-level fees for the first 200 units for 120 days.
  • No storage utilization surcharges on the first 200 units for 120 days.
  • A 45-day extension when using the Vine Pre-launch service.
  • Fee credits that cap referral fees at 10% on the first 100 units and 5% on the next 100 units, or the existing rate if it is lower.

Amazon also noted that the updated benefits do not stack with New Seller Incentives. If a seller qualifies for both programs, New Seller Incentives benefits will be applied first.

New FBA New Selection Program Raises Incentives for First-Time ASIN Launches

According to a Shopkeeper article, the FBA New Selection Program is now offering expanded incentives for sellers introducing new-to-FBA products starting July 30. The update is designed to support sellers who want to scale inventory while reducing early-stage fulfillment and storage costs tied to new listings.

The FBA New Selection Program provides eligible sellers with multiple fee reductions and credits tied to new parent ASINs. Benefits include a rebate on qualifying sales, free monthly storage for a limited number of units, free liquidation of unproductive inventory, and waived return processing fees for eligible items.

To participate, sellers must enroll in FBA New Selection if they are already using FBA or meet automatic enrollment conditions if they are new sellers. Eligibility depends on maintaining required account health metrics, including Inventory Performance Index thresholds where applicable.

The program is designed to help sellers efficiently launch new products on Amazon while controlling upfront costs tied to inventory risk and fulfillment. Sellers who plan to enroll in FBA New Selection should review ASIN eligibility rules closely to ensure their catalog qualifies for the full range of benefits.

FBA New Selection Program Now With Expanded Seller Incentives for New Product Launches

The FBA New Selection Program is a structured incentive system designed to support sellers introducing new-to-FBA parent ASINs with rebates and fulfillment cost reductions. It sits within broader Amazon FBA programs aimed at encouraging new product introductions while reducing early-stage operational costs.

The program provides eligible sellers with a set of financial and operational benefits tied to new inventory entering Amazon fulfillment centers. These include an average 10% rebate on qualifying sales, free storage for a limited number of units, free liquidation of unsold inventory, and waived return processing fees for eligible ASINs.

Program participation requires sellers to enroll through Seller Central, while some new sellers may be automatically enrolled based on shipment timing rules. The FBA New Selection Program applies only to parent ASINs that are new to FBA, and eligibility depends on maintaining account health requirements such as Inventory Performance Index thresholds where applicable.

Eligibility rules are strict and include product, timing, and sales history conditions that determine whether an ASIN qualifies for benefits. Sellers must meet these requirements at the time inventory is received at fulfillment centers, and Amazon provides tools to verify ASIN eligibility before shipment to reduce errors and missed incentives.
