Can’t Find Your Payments? Check Amazon Finance Workspace

Amazon Finance Workspace moved your payouts, transactions, reports, and tax documents into one tab in Seller Central. Your data, reserves, and 14-day settlement cycle stayed the same.

Why does an Amazon balance look healthy while the cash available to withdraw looks thin? Amazon Finance Workspace now answers that question on one screen, splitting every dollar into what can be paid out, what is on hold, and what sits in reserve.

Most held money comes from the rule that keeps each sale for seven days after delivery before releasing it. Sellers and the Amazon agency teams managing their accounts can now trace those holds in a few clicks, along with every payout, report, and tax form that moved on September 21, 2026.

Amazon Finance Workspace Brings Seller Payments Into One Tab

Amazon introduced Finance Workspace on September 21, 2026, giving new Seller Central one home for financial monitoring, payouts, and report downloads. According to Amazon’s New Seller Central Finance Experience guide, sellers no longer have to hop between separate pages to check on their Amazon Seller Central payments.

Three widgets sit at the top of the workspace. Financial Overview breaks down net proceeds, earnings, fees, and deductions month by month, and clicking any figure opens a more detailed view.

Payout Summary tracks the next expected deposit, recent payouts, and the balance ready to withdraw. The Amazon Balance Summary goes a step further by sorting the total into Available, Deferred, and Account Level Reserve.

Earnings and payout reconciliation

The bottom three rows cover the working side of seller finances. Manage Payout lists dates, status, settlement periods, and trace IDs, while Manage Transactions color-codes each charge so bookkeepers can spot problems faster.

The Payments Report page is the reconciliation stop, matching earnings to the deposits that reached the bank. For brands that manage finances on Amazon across dozens of SKUs, that single page replaces a long search through the old Reports menu.

Financial Visibility Matters More as Amazon Brands Grow

A brand can post record sales and still run short on cash if it cannot see when Amazon will release its money. Big Internet Commerce argues that one consolidated financial view helps sellers connect sales activity to the funds they can spend.

That connection matters most when sellers decide when to reorder, how much ad budget to set, and whether a product earns its keep. Without it, a growing catalog can hide margin leaks behind strong top-line numbers.

The same analysis notes that larger sellers handle transaction counts in the hundreds each month, on top of fee types and ad charges. Pulling the Amazon payments report, payout history, and balance breakdown from one tab cuts the time a bookkeeper spends tracking down figures.

Sellers working with an Amazon agency often review these numbers during monthly check-ins, and a cleaner layout makes those reviews faster. A dashboard lists every fee, but an Amazon account audit is what shows whether those fees, reserves, and deductions are normal for the brand’s size.

New Seller Central Payments Tools Moved

Long-time sellers can’t find pages they opened every week, but Seller Essentials confirmed that the Payments Dashboard still exists under Finance and then Manage payments. The table below shows where the most-used new Seller Central payments tools landed.

Amazon Balance Summary Splits Funds Into Three Parts

The outlet explains that the Amazon Balance Summary splits the total into three parts. These are Available money ready for payout, Deferred money held under the DD+7 rule for seven days after delivery, and an Account Level Reserve for risks such as A-to-z claims or recent chargebacks.

Payout Requests Now Start on the Manage Payout Page

Sellers now request payouts on the Manage Payout page by selecting an Upcoming payout, and each row shows the payout’s 14-day window, Trace ID, and status. If a request fails, the outlet says Amazon’s workaround is Classic Seller Central or the Amazon Seller mobile app, while Express Payout now sends most payouts to eligible US bank accounts within 24 hours.

The Right Amazon Payments Report for Month-End Reconciliation

The outlet recommends the Date Range Summary report for month-end totals and the Date Range Transaction CSV for line-item reconciliation, with Statement View reserved for checking one deposit. Generated reports have a 90-day download window, and North American Date Range reports now group transactions by posting date to match Form 1099-K reporting.

Bookkeeper Access to Amazon Finance Workspace

The account administrator can grant the Manage Your Payments permission under User Permissions, and outside accounting firms should be added through the Authorized Partners tab instead. Form 1099-K sits under Finance, Manage Taxes, and the Tax document library, though downloading it may require the primary user login.

Known Gaps in the New Seller Central Layout

New Seller Central shows balances, one marketplace at a time, and Amazon hasn’t said how long Classic Seller Central will stay available from the gear icon. Account data, reserve rules, SP-API connections, and the 14-day settlement cycle all carried over unchanged.
