Amazon Business Adds Amazon Pallet Delivery for FBM Sellers

Amazon pallet delivery is now available for eligible Amazon Business FBM orders, giving sellers a new way to fulfill large commercial purchases that can increase order value, improve shipping efficiency, and support better margins.

Business buyers often purchase inventory differently than retail shoppers, especially when ordering in bulk. Amazon is continuing to adjust its seller tools to better match those purchasing habits.

The rollout of Amazon pallet delivery adds another fulfillment option for eligible Amazon Business orders. Sellers that serve commercial customers should understand the requirements, potential benefits, and setup process before deciding whether to enable the feature.

Amazon Announces New Pallet Delivery Option for Business Orders

Amazon has introduced Amazon pallet delivery as a shipping option for eligible Amazon Business orders fulfilled through FBM. The feature is intended for larger commercial shipments and gives sellers another way to fulfill qualifying business purchases.

During Amazon’s pilot program, 80% of eligible business customers selected pallet delivery when it was available, with most choosing it over faster shipping methods. Amazon also reported that its 2025 research found U.S. FBA pallet orders generated an average of 16 times more revenue per order than non-pallet shipments.

To qualify for pallet delivery, orders must meet the following requirements:

  • More than one unit per order
  • Weight greater than 500 pounds or size larger than 30 cubic feet
  • Delivery to a commercial address

Sellers can enable the feature by creating or editing a shipping template in Shipping Settings, selecting the pallet delivery option, and configuring the shipping regions, transit time, and shipping fee. Because pallet shipments often require longer handling times, sellers can also adjust estimated delivery dates through the Handling Time settings, making it another update an Amazon agency may review when managing business-focused shipping configurations.

Commercial Orders Receive New Amazon Pallet Delivery Option

The rollout of Amazon pallet delivery signals a continued investment in fulfillment options built around commercial purchasing behavior rather than consumer shopping patterns. According to BellaVix, the feature is intended to help sellers ship larger orders more efficiently while supporting higher average order values.

For FBM sellers with qualifying products, Amazon recommends reviewing the areas above before enabling pallet delivery for eligible SKUs. These updates can help ensure shipping settings match the operational requirements of larger commercial shipments.

The announcement does not change how most consumer orders are fulfilled, as parcel shipping remains the standard delivery method for retail purchases. Instead, pallet delivery is reserved for commercial orders, reflecting Amazon’s continued expansion of business-focused fulfillment options for B2B buyers.

Amazon Expands LTL Freight Services Beyond Its Marketplace

The rollout of Amazon pallet delivery comes as Amazon broadens its less-than-truckload freight service beyond inbound shipments to its fulfillment centers. Businesses of all sizes can now use the service to move freight between warehouses, company facilities, retail partners, and distributors.

The expanded LTL offering supports shipments ranging from one to six pallets, or between 150 and 15,000 pounds. It is part of Amazon Supply Chain Services, which includes freight, distribution, fulfillment, and parcel shipping for businesses.

The service includes next-day live pickup for orders placed by 5 p.m., same-day pickup through Amazon’s drop trailer solution, and standing daily pickups for high-volume shippers. Additional capabilities include real-time GPS tracking, automated appointment scheduling, electronic proof of delivery, and EDI integrations for order processing and invoicing.

For FBM sellers shipping larger freight orders, the broader logistics network provides access to the same transportation infrastructure Amazon uses within its own operations. Amazon Freight also supports full truckload, less-than-truckload, and rail services through a network backed by more than 80,000 trailers, 24,000 intermodal containers, and terminals across major U.S. metropolitan areas.
